Hey future roommate

Before we meet, there are a few things about me that might make living together easier, and maybe a little entertaining. First, I love walking and biking in light rain. Drizzly weather makes the world feel quieter, almost like nature is whispering. If the sky turns soft and blurred, don’t be surprised if I ask whether you want an umbrella-free walk or a slow bike ride to reset our minds.

Second, you’ll probably hear me talking to my bird, Irah. She weighs 90 grams but acts like she runs the world. She spins for treats, naps on my leg like I’m standing guard, and kisses my lip as if I’m part of her flock. If you meet her on FaceTime before her 8 p.m. bedtime, she might even kiss the screen.

Third, music is my way of breathing. I play piano every day, headphones on whenever you need silence. I also enjoy finding quiet, hidden corners where thinking feels easier.

A tiny fun fact: I can guess a song after hearing only two notes, especially if it’s piano.

I also tend to work late, but quietly, usually surrounded by a desk that looks messier than it really is. If you ever need help with math, a quick study break, or someone to walk with at odd hours, I’m happy to join.

I’m a calm person who listens more than I talk, and I hope our room becomes a peaceful place to study, decompress, and laugh at unexpected moments.

Excited to meet you soon!

Your future roommate, David
